Youth Identity

I am still looking at the same theme of adolescent transience. For this piece I have looked at Egyptian hieraglphics to create a narrative of the child through toys and images found in my son's bedroom.

Youth

This current work is using crude materials; hessian & mud casts to look at youth identity in an organic environment. The asolescent is very reminiscent of the tree sapling, and I want to explore how making the form of the figure offers different intepretations when viewed in the natural environment as opposed to the gallery.
