I am currently working on pieces for our graduation show in June 2010. My theme is the identity of the adolescent. I am interested in the transitional phase when the child is neither boy nor man. This is a time of striving towards an independance whilst dependancy is also strong. I am interested in the forming of a unique sub culture with its own symbolic style & etiquette.
So... to try and explore this through sculpture... tricky but watch this space for future photos.
